The opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting phase of hockey stick growth whilst simultaneously defining a new software category and disrupting one of the largest markets globally. You will have the opportunity to get involved early, shape the go-to-market strategy and be part of an exciting journey from start-up, to a unicorn, and beyond. As a member of the executive team, you will establish and lead a best-in-class sales engine through hyper growth!

Your mission

To complete our leadership team, we are looking for a VP of Sales to help take the business on an accelerated growth track from a few million in ARR to a high double-digit ARR in the next few years. You will inherit a   team of 20 people (Account Executives, SDR professionals, and three team leads) and be responsible for:

  • Building a scalable outbound sales motion that will improve development of leads and MQLs to sales opportunities.

  • Leveraging the product as a top-of-funnel lead generation machine toenable product-led-growth(PLG), customer acquisition, and account expansion.

  • Enabling the sales team to sell the product at higher price points.    

  • Leading the development into new international markets beyond DACH.

  • Attracting and retaining top talent as an influential and motivational leader. 

  • Representing Capmo as a spokesperson for the organization to generate new business leads and extend your existing sales network.

What you bring along
  • Proven sales leadership experience in a high-growth software environment.; 

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in an SMB/mid-market environment (roughly 5k to 30k deal size) with short deal cycles (up to 3 months). 

  • Willing to build and scale a high-growth sales organization strategically, while also guiding SDRs and AEs with honest, personal feedback to foster continuous growth. 

  • Highly entrepreneurial and open-minded leader, ideally with hands-on sales experience and familiarity selling to less-digitized industries (challenger sales).

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

  • German and English speaking skills are required for this role (writing, speaking, and presenting).

  • Flexibility to be in our Munich office (HQ) on a weekly basis. 

  • Aligns with Capmo’s mission to “make the hard things in construction feel easy” and defining a key software category in an underserved market.
